A visit from Sister Jane
Sister Jane Louise is an Anglican Nun of the Society of Saint Margaret, a religious community who have a priory in Walsingham, Norfolk.
Sister Jane spent a week in the parish of St Paul’s Grangetown, primarily as part of their mission-focused month where she preached on the Sunday. During the week she spent time in St Paul’s Primary School talking to the children about her life in the community at Walsingham.
The photographs show Sister Jane being ‘interviewed’ by St Paul’s pupils on her life as a nun. She captivated the children and they were inspired to make a book of prayers which they presented to her as a keepsake. Her visit made a strong impression on them.
She also visited St Mary the Virgin Primary School, Bishop of Llandaff High School and St Teilo’s High School.
October 2007.
